DARPA is still at it again: Little Dog and Big Dog

Short post today. A lot on my plate as we approach finals (hang in there, everybody! I know finals for most Oregon high schools are next week), so just a video of some new advances in American robotics technology.

This is technically an old project, but this is a somewhat new update. Another one by DARPA:

This one is called Little Dog. Check out its weaponized counterpart, Big Dog, too. (Toro, toro)

The dog project is a cool one. These robots are designed to autonomously navigate through difficult terrain, and react to dynamic changes. Like being kicked.

Now if they could just get rid of that loud whirring, these would make great assassins to work with the hummingbird spies which DARPA also has.

What to take away from all this: if you want to make spy gadgets, found a robotics company and work for DARPA.
