Apparently the trick is to forget the word “can’t.”

Can’t do that? Yes you can.

When it comes to being driven, the hardest part is the way that phrase is built. Saying you’re “driven” makes it sound like someone else is doing the driving. But that’s just not true.

A common trait among all the inspiring and successful people is that they’re “driving” people. They drive themselves to the point that they motivate others.

Here’s what we’re talking about: a guy named Taylor Wilson, who became the youngest person in the world to achieve nuclear fusion, when he was 14. We linked to a great article about him at the end, which we think is worth the 15-20 minutes it will take to read it. Very great story.

What you can learn from Taylor is not to just ‘be’ smart. Anyone can be smart. And honestly, that’s not the most important thing. The most important thing is to have a drive to experiment and to learn.

When Taylor wanted to learn something, he found a way. He engineered a solution to his own problem. His parents say he didn’t know the meaning of the word “can’t,” but that’s just a cool way of saying he wasn’t scared off by a few difficulties.
